I am especially concerned with justice issues and ethics. So, I will support you to the best of my abilities and help you develop and practice new skills to regulate your emotions to serve your best interest.
My Training and Education
My training includes two master’s degrees in Social Work and Theology. I also have certifications in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) from Linehan Institute, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from BU School of Social Work, CBTI for Insomnia (CBT I), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
My Mindfulness Time
Whenever I feel the need to reflect and pause to be in the moment, I spend time in the wildflower field I planted in my garden, which overlooks the Kennebec River, which I see from my home office.
My Qualifications
I have been a Clinical Social Worker for 50 years. My license number is Maine / LC7785. I am a Diplomate Clinical Social Work (DCSW) and a member or the National Association of Social Workers, and Chair of the Maine Chapter Ethics Committee.
I graduated from the Boston University School of Social Work in 1973. Then, I decided to further my education and studied at the Drew School of Theology and graduated in 1993.

I charge $175 per telehealth therapy session and offer sliding scale rates. You may pay using a check, Mastercard, or Visa. I also accept insurance including:
